Adopt Me has one of the deepest trade economies on Roblox, and the top of it is dominated by pets you can no longer obtain in-game. Values here are in WFR, a community index anchored so that a Mega Neon Shadow Dragon sits at 100,000, with everything measured as a fraction of that. The table reflects our August 16, 2026 review, which repriced Bat Dragon, Giraffe, and Owl on ordering confirmed across multiple live lists. (Updated October 21, 2026: this guide now covers the next tier down, how each of these pets entered the game, where the one-for-one swaps run out at the top, and how closely the one tracker we can still read each week agrees with every row. No value changed.)

The next six down
Below the grails the list gets crowded. Six pets sit between 8,500 and 11,000, and this is the band most traders actually work in on the way up.

Each of these six has six or seven other pets inside its one-for-one band on the list, against one or two for each of the top four. That is what makes them useful: they are the pets you can swap sideways without building a package, which is how you trade out of a low-demand position before you try for anything rarer.
Three ways a pet reached the top
Sold for a window. Bat Dragon, Shadow Dragon, Frost Dragon, Evil Unicorn and Cerberus were event pets with a direct price, and the supply was set by whoever bought during the event. Two of them cost candy, that Halloween's own event currency (180,000 for Bat Dragon, 108,000 for Evil Unicorn), and the other three cost Robux. The price paid does not predict the rank: Shadow Dragon and Frost Dragon both cost 1,000 Robux, yet this list puts Shadow at 32,000 and Frost at 18,000.
Hatched from an egg that left. Giraffe came from the Safari Egg, Owl from the Farm Egg and Parrot from the Jungle Egg, all in 2019, all bought with in-game bucks rather than Robux. Nobody could buy the pet itself, only a ticket in a lottery. tradekitsune lists the hatch odds at 3% of Safari Eggs for a Giraffe, 3% of Jungle Eggs for a Parrot and 1.5% of Farm Eggs for an Owl, a large part of why these three outrank event pets that cost real money. The mechanics of that kind of supply are in the retired egg economy.
Still on sale. Queen Bee is the exception in the grail table. Our notes and tradekitsune agree it still comes out of Honey, which the game sells for Robux. tradekitsune lists the jar at 169 Robux with a 1 in 40 chance of a Queen Bee, which works out to about 6,760 Robux in expectation for one. Every other pet in the table has a supply that only shrinks; Queen Bee's grows a little every day someone buys Honey.
Why retired pets hold value
The common thread at the top is that these pets came from limited events or retired eggs and are no longer available. The supply is fixed and slowly shrinks as accounts go inactive, while new players keep arriving who want them. Fixed supply plus growing demand is the textbook recipe for a price that holds.
For years Shadow Dragon sat alone at the top, and it is still the pet the whole economy uses as its reference point — the index stays anchored to its Mega Neon. But the 2026 lists put Bat Dragon above it, the rarer of the two 2019 Halloween grails finally out-pricing the more famous one. Scarcity gives these pets the floor; status gives them the ceiling, and the two can rank the pair differently.
How sure each row is
Our Adopt Me numbers were last repriced on August 16, 2026, when two live lists agreed on the order. Since then only one of the two trackers in our weekly check still publishes Adopt Me values we can read pet by pet: fantasyblox answers 404 for its Adopt Me values page, which leaves tradekitsune. Under our rule one source cannot move a number, so every row above has been held. What that one tracker says is still worth knowing, as order only, because its scale does not convert into WFR. On our October 15, 2026 read it ranked each pet's base version among 3,308 Adopt Me entries:

The top four come out in the same order on both, so those are the safest numbers on this page to quote. Three of our top ten do not line up: Queen Bee, Cerberus and Guardian Lion sit in that tracker's fourth tier, hundreds of places down, while Owl, Parrot and Evil Unicorn rank above all three. None of those ranks moved across our four weekly reads (September 17 and 24, October 8 and 15), so this is a standing disagreement rather than a blip. Queen Bee's renewable supply is one plausible reason for its gap; we have not found one for the other two.
Until a second live source settles it, treat a Queen Bee, a Cerberus or a Guardian Lion at full list value as an opening position, not a settled price, and be most careful when one of them makes up most of an offer for a grail.
Where the one-for-one swaps run out
Every row on the list prints a swap band: an even one-for-one trade is one where you receive between 0.75× and 1.35× of what you give. At the top, that band is nearly empty.
- Bat Dragon's only one-for-one partner on the list is Shadow Dragon, and Shadow Dragon's only partner is Bat Dragon.
- Giraffe's only partner is Frost Dragon. Frost Dragon has two, Giraffe and Queen Bee.
- Nothing bridges the second pair to the first. Shadow Dragon is 1.68× a Giraffe, outside the band, so that step is always a package: a Giraffe plus a Frost Dragon (37,000) for a Bat Dragon (34,000) is even on paper, and so is a Giraffe plus a Cerberus (31,500) for a Shadow Dragon (32,000).
Two of those even trades lean on a contested row. On the list, a Queen Bee for a Frost Dragon is a fair swap, since 18,000 is 1.29× 14,000; it is also the trade where the tracker disagreement matters most, with Frost Dragon 6th and Queen Bee 334th there. The same goes for the Giraffe-plus-Cerberus package. If you hold a Frost Dragon, ask for more than a Queen Bee; if you hold a Queen Bee, expect to be asked for adds.
Two pets at the same value are not the same trade
Albino Monkey and Arctic Reindeer both list at 8,500, but they don't trade identically. Albino Monkey is box-odds stock with a thin, scattered float; Arctic Reindeer rides a December demand cycle and moves in packages reaching for Frost Dragon. tradekitsune leans the same way, with Arctic Reindeer 37th and Albino Monkey 78th. When two pets match on value, the one with stronger, steadier demand is the better thing to hold, because it re-trades faster at full value. Always read the demand column alongside the number, and check a specific swap on the trade calculator.
Neon and Mega multiply all of this
The values above are for regular pets. Combining four of a pet makes a Neon, and four Neons make a Mega — sixteen of the original animal, all aged to adulthood. A Mega of a grail pet sits far above its regular form, which is why the whole list is anchored to a Mega Neon Shadow Dragon. When someone offers you newborns for your Mega, they're offering raw materials and asking you to forget the hours of work already baked in. The arithmetic of that premium is in the neon and mega math, and potions add their own layer, covered in the fly-ride premium.
Trading toward a grail
You climb the Adopt Me ladder the same way as any other: convert low-demand value into high-demand value, a step at a time, staying liquid. In practice that means working sideways through the 8,500 to 11,000 band, where every pet has several even swaps, until you hold two pets that add up to a grail, because above Giraffe there are no single steps left. Open each pet's page for the items closest to it in value — those are your realistic next trades — and let the value list keep you honest about where you actually are on the climb. Values are community estimates, dated above; the order of the top four is the part both sources agree on.
