Horse is the unusual case in this generation: an ultra-rare that never came from an egg. Ultra-rares from short-window eggs are scarce because only a limited number of hatches ever produced them; Horse was on open sale straight through the game's largest growth period, so the number of copies that entered circulation is enormous by comparison. It trades below several rares for exactly that reason, and no amount of arguing from the tier label changes it. What it does have is a hard stop. Supply has been fixed since January 2022 and can only move downward now, through dormant accounts and through neon projects that consume four full-growns each. A large pool that can only shrink behaves differently from a small one: the price is stable rather than volatile, trades clear quickly because copies are easy to find, and the pet works well as a known-quantity filler in larger offers where both sides want something uncontroversial. Ability history is the meaningful variable inside a copy, since Ride-A-Pet and Fly-A-Pet are permanent once fed and carry into neon and mega builds, so confirm what is attached in the trade window.
